eLCAr Management Structure

The management structure is designed to support a flexible and efficient collaboration between the four partners and any potential stakeholder willing to participate.

An important role has to be taken by the Project Coordinator (RWTH Aachen University, Dipl.-Ing. Sebastian Winter). The coordinator will channel all information to the EC and serves as primary contact for any administrative and content-related issues.

The Technical Project Manager (RWTH Aachen University, Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. Eva Szczechowicz) is an operational manager who is responsible to support the coordinator in his daily work responsible such as planning, execution and controlling of the project.

The Scientific Coordinator (EMPA, Hans-Jörg Althaus) is responsible for the direct supervision of the scientific quality of the deliverables from every work package providing a constant monitoring of the achievements within the work packages.

The Work Package Leaders in turn are responsible for supervising the task leaders and ensure that the objectives of the different work packages will be met.

The Task Leaders constitute the core management level. They are identified by the overall work plan. Their main responsibility lies in observing and supporting the work plan associated to each task as well as ensuring a timely completion of the deliverables.

The Project Steering Group assists the Project Coordinator in managing the project. It consists of one representative from each consortium member as well as the project coordinator and convenes at every project meeting.
